Audition Info

WHO?

Everyone ages 10 to 25 is welcome to audition for PYMT! Be sure to check specific age requirements on individual shows. Our performers come from all around the area and are involved in many different groups and activities. Many of the young adults who audition for PYMT have theatre experience, but many do not – and some become actors and actresses by appearing onstage with PYMT.

HOW?

Come to our OPEN AUDITIONS and read from the scripts that we provide. If you are auditioning for a musical, prepare a song and bring sheet music for our accompanist or a cd or tape with your music. Additional information concerning our current season is provided below. Be sure to check out some general Audition Tips.

WHEN and WHERE?

Audition dates, times, and locations for each production in our current season are provided below. We also send audition notices to local newspapers, but we cannot ensure the papers will print them.
